Over 20 Years Exhibiting

For us at Kadai, the RHS Flower Show is much more than just an exhibition. It’s an opportunity to share our story, meet our community, and celebrate the beauty of outdoor living.

2025 marked two decades since Wilstone, the parent of Kadai, first exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Our journey began back in 2004, in the Ranelagh Gardens aspiring to create something truly special, combining timeless craftsmanship with imaginative garden design. Working alongside Julian Faulkner of Small Earth Garden Design and gardener Kate Stirling, our debut stand captured the spirit of Wilstone and Kadai, earning us a Merit for Outstanding Presentation, now known as the prestigious Five Star Trade Stand Award. That moment cemented our place at Chelsea, and apart from the cancelled event in 2020, we’ve returned every year since.Over the years, our stand has grown to become one of the largest trade displays at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, now located opposite the Royal Hospital and at the entrance to the Grand Pavilion. Here, more than 150,000 visitors over five days experience the world of Wilstone and Kadai, from our award-winning handcrafted stone pieces and antique Indian furniture to our iconic Kadai firebowls and cooking accessories.

Awards

We’ve been proud to see our work recognised by the RHS on multiple occasions:

In 2011, our Charcoal Maker won the inaugural RHS Chelsea Product of the Year Award for innovation.
In 2021, the Wilstone Potting Table received the RHS People’s Choice Award.
Across the years, six of our products have been shortlisted for RHS Product of the Year.

Each year, we aim to create a stand that reflects our passion for the outdoors and traditional craftmenship that goes into every Kadai and Wilstone piece.
