Which Kadai fire pit should I choose?

The right Kadai fire pit depends on the size of your outdoor space and how you plan to use it. Smaller and medium fire pits are ideal for patios, everyday garden use and relaxed evenings outdoors, while large and extra-large fire pits are better suited to bigger gardens, entertaining and creating a statement focal point. If you want a rustic finish, choose a Recycled Fire Pit; if you want a garden fire pit purely for warmth and gathering, the Garden Firepit is a simple, elegant option.

What does a Kadai fire pit kit include?

Each Kadai fire pit kit includes the key components needed to use your fire pit safely and effectively. The Garden Firepit includes the Kadai bowl, low stand, tongs and Kadai Beads, while the Recycled Fire Pit and Large Recycled Fire Pit include the bowl, Gothic low stand, Holi Grill, tongs, wire brush and Kadai Beads. Always check the individual product page for the exact components included with your chosen size and style.

Can I cook on a Kadai fire pit?

Yes, many Kadai fire pits can be used for live-fire cooking with compatible accessories. Recycled Fire Pit kits include a Holi Grill, allowing you to barbecue over charcoal before removing the grill and continuing to use the bowl as a fire pit. You can also add accessories such as the Cooking BBQ Tripod, Swing Grill, Tripod Roaster or other Kadai cookware to expand how you cook over the fire.

Will my Kadai fire pit rust?

Yes, surface rust is a natural and expected characteristic of mild steel when exposed to heat, flame and outdoor conditions. This does not affect the performance of your Kadai and is part of the authentic character of the product. Over time, your fire pit will develop a unique oxidised patina that reflects how it is used and enjoyed.

Can I leave my Kadai fire pit outside all year round?

Your Kadai fire pit can be left outside during spring and summer, but during winter or long periods of wet weather, we recommend storing it under cover where possible. Some Recycled Kadai fire pits include a filter system to support drainage, but prolonged exposure to moisture will naturally speed up oxidisation. Keeping the Kadai Beads clean and using a suitable cover or sheltered storage will help protect your fire pit over time.

What are Kadai Beads and why do I need them?

Kadai Beads sit in the base of the fire pit and help protect the bowl during use. They insulate the base from direct heat, improve airflow and support drainage so moisture does not collect at the bottom of the bowl. The beads should always remain in the fire pit when in use and should be cleaned regularly once the ash is completely cold.
