Perfect for Halloween festivities, these Halloween Toffee Apples bring nostalgic charm to any celebration. Crisp green apples are dipped in bubbling golden toffee and finished with a choice of toppings like shredded coconut, pistachios, or chocolate chips. Cooked over the Kadai, they combine a touch of theatre with deliciously spooky fun, ideal for both children and adults.

Method

PREPARE THE APPLES:

Place the apples in a bowl of boiling water for 10 minutes to remove the waxy coating. Dry thoroughly and insert a skewer into each apple.

MAKE THE TOFFEE:

Light your Kadai and warm the Cooking Bowl over a medium heat. Add the water, then the sugar, and stir gently as it dissolves. Bring to the boil and add the golden syrup. Allow the mixture to bubble until it turns a light golden brown.

TEST AND COAT:

To test readiness, drizzle a little of the toffee into cold water — it should harden instantly. Once ready, remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool for 2–3 minutes.

DIP AND DECORATE:

Dip each apple into the warm toffee, swirling to coat evenly. Quickly dip into your chosen toppings before the toffee sets.

SERVE:

Leave the apples to cool and harden completely before serving. Perfect for Halloween parties or spooky family fun.
